The Fox Inn is an 18th Century pub, set in the peaceful village of Matching Tye. The Gibson family took over the pub in 2002, having been in the industry for over 40 years, the pub has gone from strength to strength since then, with the extension of the restaurant and the recent addition of 12 luxury en-suite bedrooms.
The pub has a character beamed restaurant with a relaxed friendly atmosphere, and with its 40 seat function room, it is an ideal venue for parties, weddings and conferences. The pub is open 7 days a week, serving good wholesome food from an extensive menu, with roast dinners being served on a Sunday lunch. There is a large family garden with which to enjoy the quiet country summers and ample car parking space.
Being a free-house, the pub is able to buy from a variety of breweries, each with an extensive range of beers, wines and other beverages to choose from, making it possible to keep up with not only popular brands, but to experiment with some of the more exotic, little known, products.
